Dear Members
The annual feedback survey was sent out to the membership last Friday. Many of you have already returned your completed surveys. Please do take the time to follow the links from the previous email and have your say!
We do apologise for the lack of ability to book golf tee-times online at present. Our server (and booking system) has lost contact with the outside world and is seemingly unable to be fixed remotely. An IT engineer will be out shortly to resolve the issue.
Have a very enjoyable week.

Junior Academy
Congratulations to Lucy Pigram who won the Junior Academy Championship last week. Lucy (pictured here) has been knocking on the door for some time and it was great to see her come out on top, just pipping the favourite and Order of Merit leader Ryan Chilton by one shot. The Academy continues to grow and one of the highlights of the event was 4-year-old Freddie Hopkins who reached the 6th fairway with his 36th shot.
Junior Academy Champion - Lucy Pigram
Under 15s Champion - Sam Pearce
Under 13s Champion - Jake Penticost
Under 11s Champion - Ryan Chilton
Under 9s Champion - Joseph Byrne
Under 7s Champion - Leo Cahi
Girls Champion - Lucy Pigram
With one event to go Ryan Chilton's lead in the Order of Merit has been reduced, however he just needs to finish in the top three on November 8th to ensure victory. The under 9s and the girls Order of Merit have already been sealed with Joseph Byrne and Lucy Pigram comfortable winners.
Junior members
The junior members had their final Order of Merit event last week and there were some tremendous scores with both Peter Thomas and Benedict Carter having nett 65s with Peter just winning on countback and securing the 2015 Order of Merit in the process. Well done Pete a great result in your first year at Cottesmore.
Sussex Junior Pro-Am
Also on Tuesday, Calum took the Junior Club Champion (Josh Dance), the Junior Order of Merit winner (Peter Thomas) and the Junior Academy Order of Merit leader (Ryan Chilton) to the Sussex Junior Pro-Am at Goodwood where the four of them had a great day. This day is really just treated as a chance for Calum to monitor each of the player's progress so that a program can be put together through the winter. Each player played their part and they won best back 9 in the field of 16 teams. Though the highlight of the day may have been Calum's face when he discovered the price for 4 bacon sandwiches was £24!

Escape the winter cold - The sauna and steam room are a good way to combat the cold virus, which can't survive in high temperatures. Increasing your body temperature, by using the sauna, steam room or hot tub/spa will induce a fever that fights the cold virus. It can also improve nasal drainage and keep you fighting fit throughout the cold season.
