Fathers and Sons/Daughters

Congratulations to Tony and Neil Cockerill who won the 39th Fathers & Sons/Daughters last weekend, beating Barry and Andy Peate in the final. Cottesmore was well presented throughout the tournament with Josh Greig playing with Dad Alan qualifying for the Scott Malden Goblets before losing in the semi-finals. 

But perhaps it was Lucy Pigram who shone throughout the weekend. Qualifying for the main event on Friday afternoon then just losing out on the 18th to past winners and eventual finalists Barry and Andy Peate. Then Qualifying top for the Scott Malden Goblets before losing out in the final. 


 

Junior Club Championship

The Junior Club Championship is on this Saturday. Will Josh Dance successfully defend his trophy? Late entries are possible - just email Sam on proshop@cottesmoregolf.co.uk. 

The Junior Academy also has the Summer Junior/Adult foursomes on Saturday and the Summer Masters on Sunday just contact Calum to enter. 




Swim In Style 

The lucky winner of the 'Swim in Style' competition was Helen Chapman. Helen has won £100.00 e-voucher to spend at www.swimshop.co.uk.  

Cottesmore Health Clubs Exercise of the Week 
Plank and Cable Row 

This exercise is xcellent for your abdominals, lat's and obliques. This exercise will improve your stability and blast your core and back. Ask an instructor to help get you started. 

Drive In Style 

The winner of the 'Drive in Style' challenge is Sue Chapman. Congratulations to Sue, who has won a BMW car for a weekend. Sue was the fastest to swim the 10 lengths, 150m (with handicap for age and gender) during August. Thank you to everyone else who took part in this competition.
