New Layout Open 

The new layout of the courses has been well received; hopefully you have all been out and enjoyed the changes. Do not forget the local rules have had a few adjustments so do make yourself familiar with these - and yes there is a lateral water hazard at the back of the 6th green!! 

We are always open to feedback and it is clear we have not realised that there may be people waiting on the 2nd to tee off - This causes an issue when, those who are on the yellow and red tees are waiting and then the group behind play off the whites, not realizing that there are people on the other tee. 

Please be mindful of this while we find a solution. 




Macmilan Longest Day Golf Challenge - 72 Holes in a Day

On Monday 13th July we have 8 golfers taking part in the Macmillan Golf Challenge. Teeing off at 5.30am in the morning they will be playing 36 holes on each course. 

If you find them playing up behind them please let them through so that they can keep ahead of daylight.

Another weekend and another victory for Josh Dance as he won the 9 Hole Medal on the new Phoenix layout. From the blue tees Josh scored an impressive 32 (nett 25) and secured victory from Josh Greig who had 34 (nett 26). The day before it was Peter Thomas who won the Junior Stableford with 37 points on the new Griffin layout, just edging out Cameron James-Gibson. 

This weekend the Junior Academy has the Summer Cup on Sunday where the new Phoenix Blue tees will be putting the players to the test again.
