Health MOT
How's your health? Many of us use the gym or swim to improve our health and/or fitness. But how do we know if what we are doing is actually working? Well, if your goal is to improve your health, our Health MOT might just be the thing for you. Only taking 15-20 mins to complete, we can measure blood pressure, body fat percentage and more. All tests important for optimal health. As many tests are markers for cardiovascular diseases, COPD or asthma and even Diabetes. These Health MOTs are FREE for all Health Club members. Beach body weight workout
Warm up - Incline from bench mountain climbers - 60 secs. Wall press ups - 10 reps. x2
Main Session - 1. Press ups within 20 seconds, recovery 40 seconds. 2. Hanging alternating high knees 20 seconds, recovery 40 seconds. 3. Burpees within 30 seconds, recovery 30 seconds. x4. Squat thrusts within 30 seconds, recovery 30 seconds. V-ups 30 seconds, recovery 30 seconds. x4
Cool down - 5 minute warm down on cross over machine.
Fri 24 Apr - No hot water in the Health Club
Due to maintenance work being carried out on Friday, there will be no hot water between 10am-4pm in the Health Club showers. This is the first stage for putting in the new pool heater. You can still use the brand new golf changing rooms to access hot water. We apologise in advance for the inconvenience this will cause but it will enable the work to be carried out smoothly and as planned on the 5th May.
