A total of 57 CVGS members played in the Tuesday competitions which were held on the Griffin - Vets Morley/Bacon Round 5, Medal, Max 5 (Qualifier) and Phoenix - Vets Phoenix Rogerson Trophy Rd 5, Medal, Max 5 (Qualifier). Good golfing conditions with dry weather up until circa 12.30 and quite windy at times. The rain, which was heavy, finally appeared and CVGS members had the opportunity to test their umbrellas and wet weather gear. Following the round, many members enjoyed the 19th. Our final charity event is planned for Tuesday 29th September, which is for St. Catherine’s Hospice. The total raised so far has crept up a little following receipt of another cheque, for Chestnut Tree House is £2,114.38. Many thanks. Member’s Corner: Competition Results from Tuesday 18th August.
