A great win for Ollie

Well done to Ollie Lee who won the Junior Academy Junior Adult Spring Foursomes with his partner Sam Passmore last Sunday. After a slow start they had a strong finish to beat Elliot Fillion and his dad on countback. In third place was Ryan Chilton, who had the tough task of playing with coach Calum.

Salysa takes on the ladies

Following last week's county Girls Championship win; Salysa (13, pictured above) took on the Ladies in their County Championship. 36 Hole stroke play qualifying on Friday and then the top 16 going through to match play on Saturday and Sunday. Qualifying in 6th spot and reducing her handicap to 5 on the Friday, Salysa then won her first match before losing to the eventual winner in the last eight. Another great performance, proving yet again that the amount of effort put in equates to the amount of success received. Well done Salysa!
