Product Of The Month
With the newly fitted shop now back up and running and new 2017 products in-store we will be running a new feature in the newsletter - 'Product of the Month'. March's Product of the Month is FootJoy's Performance Trouser. In standard fit or slim fit, black, grey, navy, tan or stone with the likelihood white to follow. All sizes available.
RRP is £59.99 with our price being ONLY £49.99. These trousers are crease resistant and iron free, making them the perfect golfing trouser as well as the perfect travel trouser. We all know what it is like to have to iron a pair of trousers - now you don't have to.
Course News From The Captain
Unfortunately the forecasted rain came on Sunday morning. Falling on an already wet course, the large puddles quickly appeared and a postponement of the Grouse Foursomes was a fairly easy decision to make, though not one any Captain relishes. The course closed and remained so for the rest of the day.
A new date of Friday 14th April (Good Friday) has been agreed with the club. All players wishing to play on this new date will have to re-enter on the PSI or via the website. As it is a Friday, 5-day members are also welcome to enter.

Modernising Golf's Rules
Last week the R&A proposed some key changes to the Rules of Golf from 2019. Their Rules Modernisation initiative has been underway for a few years now and this is the next stage in that process. The aim is to not only make the Rules easier to understand, but also to address some of the game's current problems, such as speed of play, and ensure they fit the needs of today's game.
Please spare a couple of minutes to complete our survey, which gives you the chance to have your say on the proposed changes.
We've picked out some of the most significant Rules changes for you to digest in this survey, before giving you the chance to say whether you agree or disagree with each of them. It'll be great to know your thoughts (for anyone wanting to answer anonymously, please enter golf@golf.com as your email address).
