Titleist 917 Launch Event

Despite the courses being closed we still went ahead with our Titleist 917 launch event, last Tuesday, with a number of our members taking advantage of the latest products from Titleist. 

The new Titleist D2, D3 Drivers and their fairway woods were 3 years in the making with their SureFitCG moveable sole weight. 

One member found an average of 26 yards extra on his driver and the equivalent again in his fairway wood.

Storm Angus hit us last Saturday night and the rains continued on Sunday and Monday leaving the course a little damp. The 4th fairway (first pic) seemed to get the most of it on Sunday morning. The courses may have been closed for a couple of days as it dried out, but that did not stop the Greenkeepers continuing their work (clearing shrubbery from the back of the 16th green) ensuring better playing conditions for you.
