Well done to Pat Johns who won the Ladies Frank Davis Cup at the weekend with a tremendous 38 points, three shots clear of Penny Gaunt, Margaret Swatman and Jenny Frei.

The Crown League Finals were played at Stapleford Abbotts on Sunday, between Oak Park and Stapleford Abbotts. Oak Park won with the narrowest of margins on the countback of best score overall. Well done Oak Park. The Cottesmore Team played in the friendly stableford competition against the remaining 7 clubs to find out who was best team on the day. 

Cottesmore comfortably won with a score of 310 for our 10 man team, beating second place Sherfield Oaks by some 22 points. Well done Cottesmore. Well done to Ryan Chilton who not only won the Junior Stableford last weekend but also won the Junior Academy Championship on Sunday. The 9 hole event off the blue tees was strongly contested with Ryan completing the 9 holes in 36 shots, just a few feet ahead of Henry Knapton who just squeezed ahead of Order of Merit leader Joseph Byrne.
